Creating Safe Futures: Preventing Domestic and Family Violence in the Cambodian-Australian Families
Thin Project Funded by Fairfield City Council

The "Creating Safe Futures: Preventing Domestic and Family Violence in Cambodian-Australian Families" initiative addresses a critical need for effective, culturally tailored interventions within our diverse communities. This program integrates culturally sensitive education with comprehensive support services to raise awareness about domestic and family violence, promote healthy relationships, and empower individuals.

By actively engaging local stakeholders, including community leaders and organisations, we will develop workshops and resources in both Khmer and English, ensuring accessibility and relevance. Our ultimate goal is to elevate community awareness about domestic and family violence and the support services available to victims and survivors. Through these referral pathways, we will help those in need access the appropriate resources, thereby creating a safer environment for all.
